Santa Run 2006

Sunday the 3rd December saw over 5000 runners take to the streets of Liverpool in a bid to become the largest gathering of Santa's' in the world.

Their ranks were swelled by yet another coach load of Dudley Ladies on their annual "Jolly Girls Outing".

Pick of the costumes this year went to Rachel Harris and Sarah Jones, shown left, who modified their suits to look like punks to such an extent that they attracted much media attention.

Everyone had a good time and some even managed to run what was quite a demanding "race" in very windy and blustery conditions.

Thanks to all that took part and helped make the day go so well.
